As much as 5.3 million folks in Syria could have been made homeless by the devastating earthquake which rocked the area this week, a United Nations official mentioned on Friday.
“As many as 5.3 million folks in Syria could have been left homeless by the earthquake,” the Syria consultant of the UN Excessive Commissioner for Refugees, Sivanka Dhanapala, instructed a press briefing.
